Each Resealable Mylar bag has an oxygen and moisture absorber to ensure the longest shelf life possible.

 

Directions:

 

1. Rehydration:

- Measure the desired amount of freeze-dried mac & cheese for your meal. Keep in mind that freeze-dried food expands when rehydrated, so consider portion sizes accordingly.

- Place the measured mac & cheese in a heat-safe bowl or container.

 

2. Boiling Water:

- Boil enough water to cover the freeze-dried mac & cheese completely. The amount of water needed will depend on the quantity of the mac & cheese and your desired consistency (saucier or thicker).

- If you don't have access to boiling water, you can also use hot water from a thermos or a camping stove.

 

3. Rehydration Process:

- Carefully pour the boiling water over the freeze-dried mac & cheese in the bowl. Ensure that all the macaroni and cheese pieces are submerged in the water.

- Stir gently to help the water reach all parts of the food.

 

4. Rehydration Time:

- Allow the mac & cheese to rehydrate until the pasta has become tender and the cheese sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.

5. Check and Stir:

6. Serve:
